ive been running my B20A accord obd1 swapped on the factory B20A dizzy and cam sensor for ages until i misplaced my spare ignitor so i swapped it to a b18b dizzy. now all i get is spark knock and it has to be at full retard to not ping, and it makes hardly any power and uses 1 liter of gas per 9kms of driving open road
the dizzy is fine its off my civic which ran fineee
i have no timing light on me at the moment and i just wana know if you needa modify it to make it fit.

Or do i just put the B20A obd0 shit back on and buy a new ignitor from somewhere

thnaks guyz

i'm still failing to see why you'd want to change from the oem b20a ign set up.
it still uses exactly the same sensors, they just arnt all in the distributor.
the dizzy has the crank position and cylinder position, the tdc sensor is on the ex cam , the ignitor and coil are just external.
i personally think that the oem is a better set up as the obd1 or 2 dizzies are a bit prone to having ignitor and coil failure due to the higher amount of heat and vibration from being all in the same unit.
well , at least thats what i have found with them at work.
