picking up my newly acquired 1987 Accord Lx-i hatchback on Thursday for $350. It has a little over 112,000 miles on it and the timing belt broke in it. Also I'm from North Carolina.

but ditching the old faded maroon interior and only having these 2 front seats and the dash and all gutting the rest

Looks like a good find. That body is surprisingly free of bonks and random dings. I'm with you on getting rid of that interior too. I would advise against gutting it though. It will be unbearably loud and you'll hear every part rattling around in the doors. You won't be able to hear the stereo and no one will want to ride in it.

A sad day in 3geez :(

It suck that you don't have the coupe but from the way it was I'm sure the hatchy will turn out great.

Be careful with those lathe spun wheels, they're prone to bending. I don't consider them up to street wheel duty, especially when you're likely to go with a short sidewall.

well this will be my weekend car and the one for shit talkers haha so idk if it will see much street time but i know a few people with these wheels and they havent had any problems so far
