Ok,I put new rotors and pads on my car last week.So today I go out to adj the emergency brake but I can't get it to hold.I check the pistons, and they're out to the pad.I can see that the cables and the arms are moving,so why won't they hold.Anyone can help I'd appreciate it,need to get it inspected cause my other one is due next month and it needs to much work to bother with.

The e-brake connects to the rear wheels, which are drum brakes unless you did a rear disc swap. Directions for adjusting the e-brake are on p. 20-4 of the manual (http://honda.roadpwnage.com/manuals/pages/usdm-accord-1989-full.php).

Thanks Snooze,I think i got it fixed.Cleaned up the cam linkage and lubed the cables. The car sat for a year so i think they were just sticking, did have to grind a pin off the one pad to get the caliper back on but it seams to work now.If it sticks ,might have to get a new cable if its not too expensive.
