it actually dried a lot darker than that and I'm gonna sand them down and polish them real good cause they weren't that pretty looking

it's still not running lol.. It's always two steps forward, and three back for me lol... Head is back on the car, need to hook up wiring, vacuum lines, misc hoses, and fire her up!

it sucks that the prelude seats never came in burgundy. I had a 90 prelude and adored the seats, but it'd drive me nuts if they didn't match my interior :(

yessir im pulling the motor out tomorrow then cleaning the hell out of it and also tearing it apart to replace gaskets and seals

but to show some accord love i cleaned up the engine bay to show it off for senior project probably a good thing i did it got me a 99 on the project :bong:

I am also doing ls vtec but i havent gotten a vtec head yet im taking wat i need off the ls and selling the rest to buy a vtec head. thanks for all the compliments really helps keep me going i love both my cars. i really miss my ca6 coupe but i love ca5 soooo much haha. :cheers:

very true haha i need to look at legendmaster's thread again on how to tuck the bay and i need to shave it before i paint it too haha but i dont know if ill shave it but im gonna paint the bay purple and the exterior the graphite mica metallic

haha yea but im not gonna keep the ls in there for long im only using it to drive it then im rebuilding the b18a1 block with the type r pistons in it for the ls vtec :naughty: so that way i can see what all im not going to use in the engine bay then i can shave what i dont need and tuck it haha (no homo)

you have access to E85 around there?? with that high CR, I'd look into that, or meth injection... with that high cr it would have see a shit ton more power with higher octane!

sadly no the highest octane we have around here is 93 which is all i run in the em1 :) but my buddy ran 93 in this short block i got from him and he made a little over 200 with this set up so ill be more than happy

You need to disconnect it at the shift lever. Its on page 397 on the 1989 USDM service manual for more info.

not bad at all. i would suggest practicing a bit more spraying before you spray that coarse metallic color. Make sure the spray pattern overlap is good and use the same air pressure too. I noticed i can get metalliac's to "lighten up" with higher air pressures and "darker" with lower psi.

hey guys i know its been a while :nervous:
but i went to the junkyard the other day and i got a couple things

i got a 5 spd cluster and i got the shift linkage and another volvo front lip and a cb7 front lip

i also did a little more to the hatch tonight

i rewired the radio plug back on the harness tonight where the previous owner hacked it off and straight wired the radio

also got the bay a little closer to being ready for the repsray

ill add some pics soon computer wont work with me but stay tuned

well guys i know it has been absolutely forever since i have had an update in this thread but i finally have one lol. the main reason i havent updated this is because i have been busy with school and work but i finally got me an engine stand today and started to tear down the ls bottom end. also changing the build up as now im am no longer going all motor im going to boost it haha got the itch. im planning on breaking it in all motor but i will boost it later on as soon as i source together a kit and build the motor to support it.4

Skellington im probably going to run a blueridge motorsports manifold as they are local to me and have very high quality parts. now as far as turbo and bov and wastegate im not sure yet still undecided on it.

thanks messy and as far as the year it is off of a 94 or 95 integra I can't remember what year the one I have sitting around is lol. It should be the same throughout 94-01 integras though. Mine is an LS so it may make a difference.

well guys I have an update but without pictures lol. I bought an ls hydro transmission off one of my buddies for $75 a while back because something messed up internally in it. Well I tore it down at school and come to find out it was a busted diff. I sourced a new one and fixed the "bad" transmission. This is is the real update though. One of my other friends has a YS1 laying around that is good and needs an ls hydro for his EJ8. Long story short I'm straight trading an ls hydro transmission that I have a little over $130 in for a YS1. :D :rockon: :thumbup:

and I also took my crank out of the type r bottom end to school today to have my instructor look at it to see if I could salvage it and he said it looked like it could be turned. So I'll call the machine shop here within the next week or so to see about getting it really looked at.

thanks man sorry I haven't been updating lol started school again but I worked on my sei rear discs last night. I've stripped them down all the way and sand blasted them and started to paint them again. Also gonna rebuild all of it while I have it apart.

Just need to clean in the wheel well and spray undercoating in there and get everything looking good again. Also need to order my ebrake cables and find some legend rear calipers.

Got my wheel wells resprayed with undercoating. I need to do the whole underside of the car again so it will all look new again. Also got my rear disc conversions on just need to get my legend calipers and e-brake cables and it will be wrapped up.

another update...

I got my 88-89 LX-i front spindles to do my "big brake" upgrade. Gotta order the bearings and calipers and such lol. Still gotta order my ebrake cables and legend calipers.

Wow been a while guys. No real updates on the hatch. Been busy with a few other projects. I just finished up with a full color change on the em1 back in june and been working on my 66 F100. Currently building another engine for the em1. Going to build the type r up for the em1 and boost the A20 instead of b series in the hatch.

No I haven't really had a chance to work on the hatch lately. It's still sitting up on jackstands tore all apart. Been busy with work here lately. Started working with my dad back in March with the Family business and just have been super busy with it. I have however been working on building a cammed all motor type r swap for the em1. Been working on the truck a little too. The accord has really taken the back burner lately. I really need to get the stuff to do the obd1 swap on it. I need to finish up on my engine bay shave too. Lots to do to it still before I can paint it and get the a20a3 set up for turboing it.
