I'm curious. How much quieter is the ride when you're not using the sound system? I would think that with all that extra insulation on the floor that road noise (which is noticeable in these cars) would be minimized.

Neither do I...

That's a first rate job.

Thanks, i did my best. It was not a one weekend job, but i think it turned out a good price to quality ratio system.
Like it to be low profile.

Thank you. There are some seat pics in my thread. When Ksport arrive/installed, I'll make a fresh foto shoot.

The noise of back tires and back suspension is a lot less. Transverse ridges are like never before. Also the sound of the fuel pump and the sound of moving fuel in a almost empty tank is gone. Dyna on the doors is only useful for audio and a nice sound, when slammed closed.
Its amazing how loud the stereo is inside when outside the sound is far from 'boomcar' loud.
The Dyna makes the bass very tight, and there is almost no resonant, but its also less loud then before. Think i need a bigger sub/amp.
Road noise from the front is almost the same as before, the Dyna stops at the pedals.

How much worse is your gas mileage with all the Dynamat in there now?

Yeah, funny.
Your right, i used a lot, and it did put some extra weight to the car. I think it added some 70 kg (154 pounds).
Need to compensate with horsepower.

Very nice indeed!! I love how you've done the tweeters for the components at the front.

I'm looking to do something quite similar in my Aerodeck when I've got it, but with a complete trunk build in it, rather than a box on one side and the amp on the back of the seat on the other side, but I'll have to do quite a fair bit of measuring up first of all!

I will admit though, I'm not as patient as you clearly are to do all that sound deadening!! I'll leave you to have the quietest Aerodeck around with that lot! LOL
