well how many lines did you remove ? i would imagine your engine bay looks cleaner and sure mabey some pics of what to plug on the carb too ..thaks

i took out everything.
all i have is 3 vacuum lines todal connected to the carb. one connected to the intake manifold and that is it.

Congrats, man! I love the look of the engine without hoses running everywhere. I mean, everywhere. Look at the stock hose madness on our carbs!

I want that single DCOE manifold if it's for our cars.

you can make the single carb work about the same as a dual.
I'm just thinking:
- a little more room in the engine bay
- Easier to turbo (not that I'm doing that)
- Cheaper to do the mod, manifold may be more expensive??
- Slightly less weight, unless the manifold ends up real bulky.

Actually, some have the opinion that a single DCOE 45 performs as well as twin DCOE 40s. Most DCOE turbo setups are "draw-through" (air and fuel are pulled through carb by the turbocharger and then sent through the turbo and into the cylinders) using a single DCOE 45.

It seems like a single 45 would give a lot more room in the engine bay, although the manifold would be a bit more bulky.

give me a few days guys. i will build a page on "how to remove the vacuum lines"
as for now all i have is the pictures of what to plug in.
