View Full Version : clicking/claping noise

I get this anoying clicking sound sometimes when i go over bumps but more often when weight is removed from the front for example going up a hill when i get to the top and the hill starts to decline weight is removed off the front end for just a sligt second casuing two clicks/claps, once when the weight is removed from front end and once for when the weight drops causing that second click/clap & no its not my cv joint they are new

As a matter a fact i just noticed today it does go away when i break! What do u think this problem could be? Btw my shocks, cv joints, breaks, and all my tires have been balanced/replaced I'n the past month.

It's just your calipers rattling. I haven't yet fixed it on mine, but I suspect it will involve new calipers and guide pins.

How would i test it before i buy a new caliper? Just grab on it and see if the caliper moves when i tug?
