So my fourth and fifth gear are in bad kinda shape. http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/ab320/firefighterwhite89/IMG_20111002_204656-1.jpg About 3 days or so ago, while driving down Hwy 36, all of the sudden, it was like someone had dropped a bucket of small rocks in my transmission, but only while I was in 3+4 gear, otherwise, you wouldn't have known something is messed up in there.http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/ab320/firefighterwhite89/IMG_20111002_204425-1.jpg 5th gear has been no more for years. It quit pulling 2 years or so ago Coming through Atlanta. Anyways, now when I drive down the road, rarely in 3rd, but very common in 4th gear, it crunches, jerks, grinds, and juts sporadically. There is chunks of fifth gear where it's been ground to pieces, floating randomly about the Castrol 10w-40 lube oil. I've removed the trans twice now the past two days, and dug different tiny to large chunks out. Sadly, there is still fkn chunks galore. I HAVE to find another trans for donor parts. So far, I've found 3 of them, 1 in an '87 Accord LX, 1 in an '86 Prelude and 1 in an '88 Prelude, all still attached to their donor engines, All A20a3 motors, so I'm assuming they're all A2Q5 trans, and any of them will bolt up to my block/shift rod.
