View Full Version : Weapon R Intakes...

I have an '89 LX and I was wondering if one of those Weapon R Intake kits would fit on my car. The site says LXi only. I dont see why it wont fit my LX... Sorry if this is an obvious question, i'm kinda new.

Only fits fuel injection models like LXI and Se-i will fit. DX And LX will not work with it. flip the lid on the carb upside down. thats the only thing you can do to it.

only thing you can do? the intake itself is actually pretty good, it's the thing choked with vacuum hoses thats clogging it up. if you don't have emissions there's a lot you can do after you ditch the factory one

Those "Secret Intakes", are they really as good as Weapon R claims?
Cause in fact this is the best of two worlds: short ram intake WITH cold air...

Troll physics:

Hook AC pump into Short Ram. Crank up AC and you have all the cold air you will ever need.
