I just bought a 1987 Honde Accord lx-i hatchback. It was grandma owned this is the first Honda I have bought that was bone stock. Not one wire has a splice in it and every electric component works the same as when it came off the factory floor. I have always thought these cars were cool and would look good lowered with nice rims and front lip. I have lots of plans for this car. Prionance Glauca is the scientific name for the blue shark if you were wondering

I cant wait to post pics. I got some gold 14" enkeis. I need to make a run to the junk yard and get some top hats that I can fab 2" taller and I have civic adjustable coil overs going to see if I can make those work to get a couple Inches out of it. I'm going to search and try to find what kind of front lips people are using. Also trying to find the rear cargo cover mine was not there when I got the car.

Hello from Issaquah! There used to be plenty of meets in the greater Seattle area, but none for a while now... What color is your interior? I'll look out for a rear deck cover, I see hatches more often than not in junkyards. How many miles on your car?

Prionance glauca
10-19-2011, 10:25 AM
Interior is blue I have only found 3 hatches out of 30+ 3g accords in three junk yards. I have 266,xxx miles on her but she is really clean for that much and runs great. I think a rebuild, cam, headder, intake and cam gear is in the works when taxes come around so just hope she is reliable till then she is my fams only daily.

Welcome. And the pictures are very nice.

Also you don't need to worry, they are small because they are thumbnails. when you click the picture it goes to the external link and they are the right size.

Has enyone ever seen one of these if this is oem I'ma sell my accord. No really who puts one of these on. Its an oil pan plug for when you strip out your pan so now I have to go to junk yard and get new pan just so I can replace pan gasket and to top that off I broke two exhaust studs :burn:

Thanks for the compliments the wag was a lot of fun and all the looks we got kinda wish I still had it. Its hard for me to keep a car for more than a year. Those were previous projects and I was on redpepperracing for a while I had built a black top (d16a1) with zc cams b-series adjustable cam gears and zc crank gear port match it was fun. I sold it to a "friend" and he ditched out and still owes me 50 bux more for the si. The wag I sold to a highschool kid for his first car his dad was looking for some thing "cool" his son and friends could enjoy the kid was more than enthused and had lots of plans for it. So after a simple job like change oil pan gasket (on the lx-i) I broke two exhaust studs and striped out the other it took me forever to get them out of the exhaust mani. Every things good now got them out without hurting threads in mani. So no pics of lx-i lowered yet maby by next weekend. Chedda I looked at your web site and I wish I was near you so I could help with R&D keep up the good work man.
