The car looks pretty mint from what I can see.
Good to know there's another member from Vancouver, not too many left.

So it's been a long while since I posted some stuff up, but I gots a few updates for errbody. Picked up a vigor stabilizer bar and got everything to fit including the mounting brackets for the two middle bushings, those took a bit of modification. There is very little clearance on the LCA's but still enough for everything to work smoothly! The bar touches the exhaust pipe but a new system is in the summer plans so that will be taken care of. Handles so much tighter now. Then I got around to doing a good wash and wax so here is some eye candy!

I'm also going to give the bar a better paint job I just quickly sprayed it the day before I put it on and maneuvering it into the tight spot scratched a bunch of paint off.

I plan on doing 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust, hoping I can find a DC sports header somewhere if not I guess i'll settle for a pacesetter...I'm hoping to also have enough time to get a weber 32/36 swapped on before I go back to school in the fall. And then after that probably some D2 coils to get rid of the wheel gap and we'll see about wheels and tires. I really wanna keep it old school and stock looking on the outside and have some goodies hidden underneath. If I do replace the steelies I'm leaning toward gold mesh type wheels. But we'll see what happens as the build goes on.

I was surprised I even found one up here at the one wrecker haha that bar is pretty cheap and a relatively simple install for a significant handling improvement!

I meant to say I can't believe you found a hatch that clean in van, which is close to me, which I am jealous of him finding!

If you want to go for the pacesetter, my entire exhaust is no longer used and is just sitting around.. if you want it we could work something out.

I was on a car buying mission in van for a weekend and it was the very last car I looked at and the only one that was definitely worth the asking price. I'll pm you about that header.

Clean hatch. Did you Polish those wheel lips, or buy them that way?

They are just beauty rings you can buy em like that and they just press on like a hubcap! I try and keep em as shiny as possible though! haha

should be easy enough to find, my rims are 15's and i've seen them on a lot of other cars as well they but look way better on a 3gee though haha

I'm worried about it not fitting on the "dish" of my rim. I found a couple sets they all seem to be for old chevys. They look clean as hell, I want a set!

Very nice looking hatch there! It's the same color as my 88 LX-i coupe. Seeing those trim rings on the wheels makes me tempted to get a set for my 88 coupe, which still has the stock wheel covers on it and two of them are damaged. Are you using the stock lug nuts or did you also replace them with new chrome lug nuts? If stock, did you remove the rings on them that hold the wheel cover in place?

Johnkowsky
07-30-2012, 12:13 AM
I'm pretty sure they are new chrome lug nuts, I'm not aware what the stock nuts look like. The chrome ones came on the car when I bought it haha. And an update, clutch cable broke on the way home tonight, not stoked. Hopefully I can find one tomorrow and put it on Tuesday!

If all else fails the 91-93 Integra clutch cable should work. It is a slight bit shorter tho.

You guys have put lots of work in and it shows, I can't wait until my hatch gets to that level! I plan finish up engine mods, suspension, wheels and tires next summer and if I can find the parts 4 wheel disc!! Hopefully the rain quits here and I get the new clutch cable installed then I'll post up some recent pics of the new mods!!

Sidenote haha ->
The other day when I went on a pick a part adventure I was asking the guy if he had any 3geez in the yard and he only had one, after telling him my plans for my hatch he told me to stop polishing a turd cuz it would be way too much work. Then he said to get a car with more aftermarket support and in my mind I was like shit are you kidding me! We are enthusiasts we like quirky unique cars that aren't seen everyday we want something that people look at and are like wow, I never seen anything like that before. Apparently he doesn't understand. I was kind of taken aback by the whole situation. I would have spent a ton of money on parts from there if he had any, guess he lost out... /rant

thanks alot man:) just dont give up, im sure we all have those moments when the amount of work that needs to be done to get the car the way you want it is overwelming, i know i have lol. And the guy at the junkyard was the turd lol. In my opinion its a whole lot easier to build a car with a lot of aftermarket support, but where the fun in that:). your right about not seeing a unique built 3geez every day, it feels nice to get some attention and see the look on peoples faces asking me what my car is, and that they have never seen a hatch like that lol priceless.

I always love that feeling! I also love it when they ask you what kind of engine you running and you say the A20, they're like "WTF"

They be all like seriously no B18? And I'm like I have a c-a-r-b-u-r-e-a-t-o-r it's old school shit! I think I'm gonna get the dictionary definition of carburetor made into a diecut and stick it on the back of my car haha then people will stop trying to race me...I've only seen 2 3gee hatches that didn't belong to a member of this site since I got mine. Can't wait for the next few weeks here getting new drums and shoes and investing in some Adams Rotors and stoptech pads up front :D and of course jet kit and wideband a/f are in the ordering process as well!
