I have an 88 LX-i, which originally had (I believe) an A20A3, after 240,000 mi it started having major problems, so it was replaced with a BT from a wreckers, with almost no miles on it. I haven't seen any info on these boards reguarding the BT engine (Is BT from the earlier LX-i's?). Does anyone know the differences between the BT and the A20? Eventually I will replace it with b20a, b16, or b18 but until then some more info would be nice.

ok BT engine came in '86 in our accord.
it is almost the same except it has 8.8:1 compression vs. 9.3:1 in '88 a20a3 engine.
