got my 3g for 300$

hey guys whats up finally able to post after creating a new account. picked up my baby for 300$ while my DD prelude was under going an engine swap. basically it got stolen from my co-worker and by the time they found it he couldnt afford to get it out the impound and already had a new car, so i just paid to get her out. anyways its an 88 or 89 lxi. and does not get much attention yet due to my prelude, however it has gotten me thru some tuff times when my lude was down and i want to get her back to a sexy reliable alternate, so i can work on my prelude more then on the weekends.

she desperately needs
-head gasket
-1 0r 2 new axles
-pretty much want to rip the engine out make everything reliable and put back in
-new black carpet
-car idle bucks at stoplights, put into neutral it lightens it to a shake. i assume sumthing in my tranny is done for, so fix that, dnt know auto tranny??

so far i have done some mods, everything i found at the pick n pull for cheap or DIY
-4window visors + sun roof visor all for 20$
-leather armrest from a 2dr accord i believe
-3g prelude steering wheel
-3g prelude front seats
-front stock speakers from DC teg and no name tweeters and "super tube"
-painted blinkers amber
-tinted grill w/ emblem
-tinted 2'' bar on top of windshield
-matte black emblems all around


in the far future i would like to
-5spd swap
-slammm it
-new fenders w/ turn signals
-repaint it current color w black accessories
-fogs and projectors
-get every thing up to stock condish
-maybe plasti dip my rims white

Nice car man. Good price for it to. Where in the world did you get those visors?! I have been wanting them for so long now! Btw love the amber front turn signals, I've always wanted to see those on the facelift bumper (88-89)

I had an 89 accord like this one in blue. When i blew the motor one summer i didnt have the money to fix it and got rid of it :( Glad to see yours is still going. Nice!!!! You have a lude? What year? I am driving an 89 prelude and was wondering if there are parts to found here (i'm still a nube). Thanks, roman.
