Trouble Starting After short drives

usually it happens when i go to get gas or i leave right before/or as the car is warm. i just got another coil and im gonna try that but im not to sure what could be the cause.

oh yeah and usually it goes to start, BARELY runs really rough for maybe 2 and a half seconds, and then dies and wont start untill like an hour or maybe less but not immidiatly
after.

yeah idk what the deal is either, i take good care of my car, regular oil changes, put the best gas in, and i even add a lil seafoam every so often.

but i have the carbed.
so no main relay right? thats just the FI.

Might be worth testing your fuel pump. See what your fuel pressure is like at the times it starts acting up. If fuel delivery checks out, then you're probably looking at a carb rebuild. *Shudder*

carb rebuild..... dont like the sound of that i have no idea how to do that.
hopefully spraying some carb cleaner through will help??

Check fuel shut off,its a grey one on back of fuse panel under dash.

I would recommend to check the timing related components first.

For example, you can use a timing light. When you see the failure mode, hook up the timing light. If it lights up (when the engine is cranking), you at least know you have spark, the next thing would be where your timing is at while cranking.
Then go for the fuel level inspection through the little window the carb has in the driver's side. Both extremes are bad, either full or empty, so the fuel must be somewhere in the middle.

If you have spark & correct timing & fuel (not in excess), there is no reason for your car not to start up. So probably at least one of these 3 things should be incorrect.
