Hello everyone :wave:.

I don't believe many of you know me, but let me introduce myself. My name is Ralph and I have been the primary organizer of SoCal Meets and other gatherings in SoCal for the 5th Gen Accord, primarily Hondasociety.

In recent years the 5th Gen Accord Community in both Northern & Southern California have grown closer together culminating in an outstanding showing at Eibach 2011. With that being said, a fellow friend and I would like to begin a yearly meet to unite fellow Accord owners and celebrate our beloved Honda model.

Hotel Information

We have found a location for everyone to stay at for C.A.M. The location is in Burbank and is right next to a shopping center and is 8.2 miles from the meet location, so 13 minutes away. Not only that, but it's right next to the Burbank Airport for anyone flying in. It is extremely dumped friendly and provides plenty of adequate parking. Furthermore, the hotel is ranked #2 of 18 hotels in Burbank.

Below is tentative information and Ralph will be giving the hotel a call to see if we can get further discounted rates for reserving several rooms. You guy's do the math and see what it comes out. The details for the room rates below go as follow:

As of now CAM is 5 months and some days away. It's time to kick it into gear! Expect the finalization of the location which CAM will be held at the end of the month.

Registration for Cali Accord Meet will open this Friday when the site is fully launched. You will be able to do so on caliaccordmeet.com.

We will have a limited number of preferred spots and when they have all been accounted for, it will no longer be available, so act hastily.

Just to let you know guys there is Burbank which is like 10 mins away from the meet location. there is alot of hotels around the area not just the ones he listed. Aneheim is bit father down south unless you plan to go to disneyland the day after.

my plan is to go school on friday till ~11am and then take off to LA and make it around 5-6 or I can just wake up early on sat and take off around 6am and just roll into the event.

Hey Guys of 3geez, this is Honda Mans lady, here's some info i found on a hotel with rooms for June 8-10 from as little as $53.52 a night for a studio suite w/ a queen sized bed. It is in Anaheim, its 30mi from the meet site, but not that big of a deal. Thats most likely where we'll be staying, just a suggestion or otion for those of you who don't want to spend soooo much on a hotel room.

As I have mentioned before, there are more 3G Accords coming than what you expect. We have had some people register whose names don't match up with the screen names here. Honda Man, we will have a caravan from NorCal coming down on Friday. That information will be posted on our website in the next couple of days. You might want to consider driving with them just in case, after all, you never know.

Painted car or not, don't let that discourage you. Remember, this is not a show but rather an umbrella to unify Accord owners. I'm certain there will be some cars there who may not have the best of paint and others that will, but just use it as inspiration or motivation.

We listed screen shots of the hotel where a majority of attendees will be attending. We understand it may be a bit more pricey, but we chose that location because of it's proximity to the location, venues around it, and for those we have never been to SoCal, distance to downtown, Hollywood, & the beach. When you factor in the price of gas and the time you'll be wasting on the freeway driving from Anaheim, it justifies it.

You may want to fight for that. How is a company or whatever it may be not give you the time off after you were approved so to say. What if you had really planned a big trip that would require you traveling out of state.

That's unfortunate to hear but you can not sell or transfer your spot as that had to be done several weeks ago. Hopefully though you can still make it.
