Lol I still want a 4th but I'm just gonna run with it. Got the car at a stupid price so I'm not complaining. But it has 350k on the clock but it runs like a 100k motor IMO. Me and Luke raced from a 50-60 roll and we were dead even till 110ish(his car should've waxed mine, I think his tune needs a bit of work). But it should be making like 110ish hp to keep up with him after knowing his dyne numbers.

I loled when it happened.

Changed the front brakes because they were squeaking bad(think they were just glazed over) got ceramic ones from autozone so no more front brake dust. Haha ill get some ebc ones down the rd when i upgrade rotors and possibly calipers.

But found a few small probs i need to work out soon. First iff the rad is leaking from the top where the plastic and metal meet. Hopefully can order a new on this week when i get paid. I also found my 70amp started fuse is switched with the 30amp one from the rear defroster...

This is what im talking bout. The only real important thing with steeribg wheels is the hub. There are two bolt patters used on 90% of aftermarket wheels, and 95% of that 90% are 6 bolt.

Also i had a egay steering wheel and hub, besides the crummy bolts it wasnt bad at all. I liked it better then stock(i hate how huge those things are)

one is off a 93 civic and the other off a....

Legend lol. It was the left radiator upper mount(like it really matters). But i grabbed it off a strange hint id might be able to use it to mount the civic radiator and my hint was right.
To mount mine i used the stock accord upper mounts and drilled a hole in the metal off the front clip(the same part rendon sat his radiator on in his "howto video")
bent some metal to make it sit flush, wired up a switch using the stock cooling fan acc power from the fusebox behind the coinbox
And bam. Done. ( sorry, no pics of the mounting steps, i was trying to beat some rain)

Mine is mounted all the way to to the battery side. I like how yours doesnt get in the way of the top cross bar piece. Mine had to be bent flat to clear the radiator. I can try to post a pic later.

Well a while ago i picked up a f20a dizzy its off a dohc jdm motor blah blah i got it for cheap. so i wanted to make it work. no final pics but the plastic covering hits the tstat housing right where the rubber gasket goes so no go.
it was looking sooo damn close to fitting too.
but got a po6 and a p75 in my room + a jumper harness. Besides running the 3 wires for the dizzy and mounting a dizzy im ready to go obd1... So hopefully ill be getting another dizzy that is known to work on our cars soon.

Got it to sit flush by rotating it counter-clockwise. So im excited. I couldnt tell if the bottom hole lined up 100% but im pretty sure it does.

Still confused if I need to just flip my cam key then bolt this guy up or if I need to "redrill it". As far as I kno re drilling means you are placing the cam key at a location you want, not 180degrees.

ok if you flip the key 180, it will be close as hell, but not close enough. It looked like it would all line up but it wont. you might be able to make it work with a cam gear but you are on you'r own for that.

Tim, you need to make one of those super secret tools I sent you a text about. lock the rotor in the center of the #1 plug. then mark th body of the dizzy by lining up the valve cover bolts. that will give you an idea of where the cam key needs to line up.

Much thanks to luke/mushroom toy. We had to helicoil the #1 sparkplug bwcause as soon as i got there it shot outta the head along with the threads.

Also, i swear this car went mudding at one point. So much mud was clumped up in the front and there is mud residue everywhere ita crazy.

Anyways got the settings on the coilovers closer to what i like. Gonna try and see if i can get more low with them tomorrow if ita not 44 degrees and super windy -_-

Yea im pretty sure a batt exploded at one point. lots of crappy rust. Imma take a wire brush to it and spray some can primer to keep the rust from spredding.

As far as the stiffness im almost there.

Awesome, there will be much less bounce with lower profile tires. On the rear, you should be able to cut some of that sleeve down. Not sure if there is enough threads to do that on the front. You could also remove the adjusters to lower a little more.

Yea smaller tires for sure but on my way to work at speed on a section or two of the interstate its really annoying so i need to fix it.

And the rear has no room to cut. The threads are like 3mm from the top. Its all the space under it. That i wanna get rid of.

Also how much were those upper control arms....I just bought napa brand ones, and I have the exact same ones, except mine came with balljoints....and it was only $100 for the pair.

Always...one note on the napa ones. They will only be exactly like the ingalls/spc/whatever ones IF they say Made in USA on the box. I have seen several different designs of the napa ones and all are crap the ones that say Made in Korea, China, or Japan or India stay away from. Ones made in USA are what I have and theyre the same as tims. All have the same part # though.

Car rides 10x better, and i even lowered the car bout a inch more. Gonna try and get tires/steelies here soon, prelude front arms, go obd1, then get an aglinment so i know she drives great. Then its bushing replacement time. Poly or die.

You can get it out with a pic tool or small flat head screwdriver. You know you have to flip and re-drill the cam key. right?

Well i replaced my radius rod mounts today. Had terrible tq steer and was killing my front tires. This is wut came outta the driver side mount:

Yea... It was done. I got those poly moog ones now :) hopefully ill be replacing other bushings on the car very soon. Stock rubber abd 360k dont do too well.

Batt died on drill so to cover up some of the exposed metal i sprayed a light layer of paint. Gonna prob cut most of the metal out under the headlight motor and get new sheet metal welded in.

Thanks man, I wish it could move faster but that's life. And I'm debating on the ride height, I wanna go lower but I think I might run into too many problems with bushings/joints with the 370k on the chassis.

Hell yea its unversal! Lol just type in fender washer on ebay. 99% are standard honda sized 10mm.

And replaced the water pump while i was in there and the cars batt is more charged but wont run unless its hooked up too the batt.
Aka i did the pulled the neg off the bat while running test and it failed. Any ideas?

Pull the neg cable off? Im old schoOl and wouldn't even do that, maybe the pos cable. Check the see thru fuses unser the hood, if the white alt wire shorted even briefly it pops the hi amp fuse.
May wanna check bulk connectors where you did the wire tucks

Of course the voltage reg is prime suspect like A18 said.

And yea its the easiest way to test an alt, disconnct th batt while the car is running. If it dies mean alt is shot.

As far as the wire tuck went, i dont think i did anything to the wires that had to do with the alt besides the fusebox, abd that was just re routing wires, no cutting.
But ill find out how much voltage im putting out soon, i have no micrometer at my apt.

i told yall i forgot to take pics. but ths first two are the civic "cage" you need to install if u dont want to grind on the shifter you just bought. i found out if you install it with the skirt up(flip it in the first pic) then u can just snap the c-ring in with a bit of cursing.

well I haven't posted in here in a while.. mainly because I went to basic... but I havnet been able to work on the car but I have been able to use ebay and lets say I spend too much time on there...
I should be getting some friends to bring me my car and a lot of parts up here to Wichita falls tx and ill be doing a few small things on the weekends before I gotta go to az. Ill post some pics in a few weeks of what I end up getting done/All the parts in boxes haha

welp ive got good news and bad news. good news is there is a pic at the end of the post.

bad news is:
a. there was fitment problems(idk why I didn't expect it) but Im gonna need my fenders rolled and my camber kits installed on the rear.
b. no pics because the rubbing on the fenders was bad enough to freak my sister out.

with that being said, idk if I like the tire sidewall. I wanted it a bit thinner but o well. next time I buy tires imam get a 195/40 or 45/15... in a year or so.

Avid.1 those are the Av-11's and idk how much they weigh. I just picked a style I liked and they had a great offset so I had to get em.

welp good and bad news, I got my car out here in tx! its sexy on the new wheels.

bad news, ive been having the worst luck with my charging system. between my alt deciding to spit all the bolts out on the road, my batt dying a lot, and the post keep popping off cuz of the shitty roads, I haven't been enjoying it tonight. Ive just wanted to drive around and grip my new grip royal wheel but nahh not this weekend.
