i replaced my dizzy when i got code 9 an fixed the problem.

WORD THANKS PENN.. thats what i ended up doing.. i had another dist. that i put on there and it cleared the problem up . thanks..... still dont know what the part on it is exactly but no code now...lol

nice . . .Great thread.. i wonder why when i do searches on here i can never find good threads like this..I really appreciate it. Whats weird is that there was like white powder coming out of the hole when the oil drains out.. and when i took the cap off there was white powder all in it too.. crusty white stuff .. thanks tho ..i ended up figuring out it was my dist. and i had a old one and threw it on now no more code 9.
A quick question to ya .. Cna i mess up the timing if i put the rotor on there wrong. or is there only one way of putting it on ? Im having a crazy idle serge that i think has something to do with my distributor..thanks for the info man ..
