a20a1 carb cold air, and vacuum box...

im looking to make a custom cold air for my a20a1 accord, and every pic i see the vacuum box is gone, how much trouble will it be and wt do i have to do to take it out?, my car runs mint right now and want to keep it that way but want to add some power with a cold air cuz i have the stuff to do it and can fab shit up

if it runs mint how it is & you want to keep it that way, i'd suggest leaving it as it is.

you could just make a thingy to put a filter right on top of the carb intake, makes it sound cool too

just to note sometimes modifications just don't make statisical improvements, but as well the mods do make the engine bay easier to deal with.
