The throttle wire has worn through the plastic surrounding the wire at the fire wall. I have searched for hours and there is no where to find one. What are my options at this point? Is the a fix? Other throttle wires that can be used? Or just start searching junk yards?

Are you having issues with the throttle? It shouldn't be causing any problems unless I'm misunderstanding what is happening.

The accelerator pedal will not work at all. Upon further examining the plastic around the throttle wire looks like it was broke off around the fire wall. Looks like when the guy was swapping the motor he forgot to unhook it. So im guessing its broke somewhere. Guess i will have to search the junk yards.

Oh. Yeah, get that handled. I would only buy a new throttle cable, myself, if you can find one. They’re all so old now that you’re bound to have problems with a used one.
