it's under the inlet manifold on the block between the oil filter and pcv box

It looks like a temperature switch, of the kind that turns on the radiator fans. Check the service manuals

My a20a3 didn't have that sensor in the back but the replacement engine i got which is an a20a1 did have that sensor. I left it alone since i didn't have anything to hook up to it.

how do I know where it connects to? I did the webber swap and took out a lot of wires...

its a bullshit carb sensor, if your cars not carb dont use it :)

It's a carb , but not with the original one, I've installed a Webber.

My A18 block has one of those. It's a temperature switch for the evaporative control system. With a Weber you won't have any of that so the sensor acts as a nice plug. :D
