Hi all,
I've been reading this site for some time but now I need some help. My 88 Accord with a carb starts right up and runs fine except at regular idle there is a miss/backfire going on. It drops about 100 rpm and then picks right back up. It's kinda like a mmmmmmmmm-putt-mmmmm-put/put-mmmmm.
Like I said, the car starts and runs fine off idle, gets good gas mileage but the stumble is driving my nuts. It sounds like it's on the intake side but it doesn't sound like it's back firing up through the carb.
I've read every carb post and none seem to be like the problem I'm having. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks
