Will flip screen fit

Hey guys I got a pioneer flip screen head unit from my brother,and I was wondering if the screen will clear the heater controls.Just want to know if I need to buy something before I try to install it.

If you have the stereo stick out a good 3-4 in then yeah it will.

Or you can take the controls out and do what i did. I still have heat in my car but i can't control how hot it blows, just how fast or slow the blower blows. And heat only comes out to the windshield to defog it

Some models come with a tilt control. You could also put the unit in the lower console (where the tape decks/cup holder/EQ would go). It's just big enough for a head unit.

Well I could put it below Legend but I want to use cup holders,isn't there an adapter that would bring the deck out farther.

If you do it how tommy did then you won't be able to use the cup holders!

You could get extra crafty and move the heater controls down to the current radio location and put the flip up screen into where the heater controls were. With some careful surgery and time it can be done.

Well i talked to my brother and he said the screen tilt was adjustable and the deck has an extended front so it should be ok.Guess i'll know when i install it when it warms up.
