I removed my exhaust manifold and reused the gasket. I coated it with Hondabond HT, the gray stuff. It says high temp and is rated for 600 degrees so thought it would be OK to use for that. I took a better look at the tube today and don't see anything about it being O2 sensor safe. Is it ? I hope, I hope, I hope.

I've had no issues using high temp sealant on the exhaust gasket between the head & manifold, but i have between the manifold & downpipe. you should be fine installing the o2 sensor without any sealant at all.

Well, so far so good. I fired it up and got the usual smoke from getting a little oil on the manifold and maybe some from the Hondabond. After all that burned off I drove it around and runs OK. Thanks for the replies. I'll probably put a new O2 sensor in it after I get a few hundred miles on it. It hasn't been change for quite a while.
