holy shit Jared,

OK at this rate, I'll get to where you are in about 2 yrs. I'll be sure and snap that pic then.

Anchovies and Neu,
Nope, I had been looking at that damn odo and wanted to, but I got home from work yesterday and looked down, and was like FUCK! i forgot to take the pic and I was already at 200,047 by then. DAMMMIT! Oh well

Yeah, I'll make sure i snap one at 222,2220 w/ trip at 222 if I can remember to hit it when I need to. You should see that pic in about 6 mo.

I'm looking forward to pushing mine up to 300K. Once I get there, I guess the car's just gonna sit in the garage as a collectible. I'm at 245K now.

don't get me wrong.. ..i love these cars and all, (hence the reason I have 2) but something makes me think that a 300K 3G isn't gonna be close to a collectible until it's about 312 yrs. old with NO rust on it. ...and something makes me think that'll never happen. Sorry to dissapoint anyone.

There were far too many of them sold to really get to be collectible, but you never know. I will be at 200K miles before the end of next month myself.

Mine just past 264,000 miles. Hell yea! Ask a Honda dealer if they want a 300k car. I was at a local Honda dealer a month ago, and said that if i trade my car (dont know how much for, they'll probably give me $3.00) and they like to have it on the showroom showing 300k miles on a Honda. It still looks like new with the black paint that was painted about 3 years ago and an interior that seems to never age. It seems that Honda interiors wear very good with just using armor all in its life.

i disagree with them not being collectable. i beat in 20 years or so our car will be collectable. i mean any car from the 70's-60's or earlier is collectable to atleast some degree.

:stick:

Somehow I dont see the Ford Pinto becoming a collectors item any time soon.

I agree on both counts. Well engineered cars from the past become collector's items. Not only will the Pinto not be on that list, but neither will the Vega, Chevette, Citation, Ford Fairmont, K car, or the Yugo. Most have returned to their natural state: iron oxide, ie: RUST. However, I do believe the 3G Accords that do make it another 20 years will have their place as collectibles. That goes for most Hondas. The 600 series has become a very saught after car. Two of the Honda dealerships here in Portland have them in their showrooms. One, a sedan, the other a sport coupe.

my car will never hit 111,111 with me driving it ...i only put like 4-5 thousand miles on my cars each year.. and i only plan to have the 3g untill spring time of next year
