constant engine noise

You know that sound the engine tends to make when you shift into too high of a gear (like 5th at 30mph or something like that) and the engine makes a lot of rattling/pinging noise?

Well my car tends to do that all the time, when i'm accelerating. Any ideas on what to check?

When was the last time you did a tune up + fuel filters?

timing...
or bad gas...

do a complete tune up....spark plugs could be bad..
more than likely it needs a good tune up and mabye timing.
