I dont like it. It looks like a half ass'd job and that length shift really on looks good on 18 wheelers. Thats my opinion. Sorry i dont mean to be harsh.

yea i know it looks half assed now. its not finished yet. i hve to refinish it, clear coat it, and then fix the gap between the black tube and the shift knob. my style is NOT for anybody. Im a weird person with a weird style and take pride in that. So yea theres that so far, soon to be finised and a lot more projects to do
so at the top of the knob, how far does it move between 3rd & 4th gear?
Honda Man
04-02-2012, 07:15 PM
Like a foot or so. Not to bad. I've seen some that you have to fist your dam mirror when you grab the knob

I think that's the funniest thing I've ever seen! I love it! ROFL!!
Is there any danger to having that in the cabin if you get in a wreck?
Honda Man
04-04-2012, 03:14 AM
Not really no. I looked into a lot of things about a months worth of info about having shifters like this. Nothing really showed you can get hurt by it if you get into a crash. Plus my driver seat is lower than stock seats and my position I drive in, the most that could happen is I bumb my head on the rod. And thanks for laughing man, that's the point of it the LOL factor. I love it when people say WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!

so all through April ever since i got my tax returns back ive been working on my hatch. did a tune up with new oil&oil filter, spark plugs&wires, new cap&rotor and cleaned up the dizzy. Also cleaned up the engine bay a bit. I also wired and installed legit 3rd gen EDM rear fog lights (thanks Bryan!), ef civic fender markers, removed all the window tint, new stickers on the back window and cleaned out the interior finally. and some here are some pictures of some of the process and how she looks today.
My girl wanted to model my rear fogs they day i get em, enjoy

Ok well I've gotten some more work done on lafawnda, and I'll take some more pics when I wash and clean it out. I was looking to find some rims not to many people had and I got the idea of crome steelies. Then searching around I found Crome steelies but the had a widened lip which is perfect since I'm going to do a boso theme to my car.
Here is some wheels I liked. I was thinking 14x9 with flared fenders and being lowered a bit more than I already am
http://i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa453/Daniel_Davis_408/59B04170-BB4B-4173-B35C-2B80162513A0-1219-00000249695341CF_zpsc6c0d91f.jpg

14x9 on a 3g? :omg:
Yea that's right 14x9! That's just the idea of it. I still have to see how much it will actually cost.
So now my plans changed for the hatch. Some big news happened, at the beginning of Aug. I proposed to my girl of 3 yrs. and not only are we engaged we she is pregnant! So ima be a papa. So I'm going a little different route so I have more money the the little one. For sure I'm getting louvers but hopefully from king peetis, then I'm doing SEi rear disks, now suspension and some exhaust and motor work.
For shock I was thinking tokinko blues, my dropzone springs or (maby GC coil sleeves) and the tophat mod so the don't blow. I have a $1000 spendIing limit for everything. So my question is what would be the best cost efficient route for my suspension? But also giving me kinda stiff suspension because im already lowered a couple inches and i dont want to raise it up. Let me know any options and if you or know someone selling some shocks let me know. And after this is taken car of then it is time for 5 ft. Tall boso pipes!!!!

Thanks Jesse! We will be 6 weeks along on Wed. So we're having a may baby.
So back to the car, from what I got from reading here is that the tokinko blues and GC coilover sleeves are good and if I do the tophat mod they won't blow right? At first I was going to get ksport coilovers but the cost so much and I want to get other work done so I will get those later down the road.

Found your thread looking for info on extended shifters. Good to see someone into the 'don't give a fuck' style like me.
I'm extending my shifter on my cb7 with a piece of 3/4" pipe from my job. I'm putting some bends in it so the throw doesn't feel like too much and to make it look more 'stock' lol if that's possible. I also rock a custom wood grain shift knob that I made.

So it's been a while since I updated on 3gee. Been using the Facebook app lately. So since the last update I've had both rear fog lights stolen, new steering wheel w/quick release hub, new shifter with miller shift knob, Muffler rust and fall off, tinted the fog lights, some new stickers, a wink rally mirror, fender mirrors from a Honda scamp, and finally some fuction form type 1 coilivers from ef civic. This year is the year I fix everything. My goal is get her ready for JCCS 2014

Thanks dude :) the fnf are pretty good for going low but REALLY require extended top hats. The back can be dumped easily but the front is tricky. I didn't have the top hats before I installed them so the shocks in the front softened up pretty quick. I'm planni g on getting custom built top hats built that are around 3-4 inches tall & new set of fnf coils next year

Thanks 2oodoor! The light is a 3gee EDM rear fog light. The ring is a train handle from japan. It is a symbol of the style I'm going after. More work is going to be done on the splitter to make it look cleaner. Paint, support, bosch fogs and some other goodies as well
Thanks you as well snooz. I thrive on being unique and different especially when it's to crazy for the average person.

Bosozoku - "violent speed tribe." LOL. It's is a very cool design movement. That body kit is off the chain. I give you extra points for seeking out something off the beaten path that no one in the States has probably even heard of (I hadn't). I'm loving it.

I dont think those are kits but they look interesting. I just noticed on the teal hatch, the entire upper portion of the front clip sheet metal is from a totally different kind of car...celica or nissan? Taillights look like those on a 80's camry. The whole doorskin (and quarters & fender) below the windows was sourced from a different car or its sheetmetal...mad skills:D
??looks like a cowboys fan<on the ice blue 2nd gen or camry with the airplane tail wing which leads me to think they're using aluminum to make those wheel flares.

Thanks to the both of you. Snooz yes it's vary different style and that's why I love it. 2oodoor alot if the extended and exaggerated body mods are sheet metal and fiberglass work. The fenders on the celica are almost exactly what I want for my hatch

You know, there are a lot of ways to contribute to a site and offering up hate and pointless criticism won't win you any friends. How about you show us what you've done and what you think is cool and let the rest of us do the same?
