Just wanted to see if I remembered correctly. Was a 90 lude traction bar an some custom tq bars. I swear rob said so. I'm going to call em explcited an See what they can do for me

I thought he gave them the right dimensions to fix the problems and they have the info on hand, u just have to give them the right part#'s....

Ok so i finally was able to mount the kit on my new chassis and took it for a test run today. The only negative aspect i came across when used with a A20A engine was that when jacked up the drivers axle will rub on the new hardware that attaches the radius rods. But i drove a few miles and with it lowered on H&R's i didnt hear any rubbing nor do i think its even a issue when the car is on the ground. I couldn't check with my xenon kit blocking my view and my floor jack crapped out so i can't jack it up. Keep in mind this is the kit using a stabilizer bar in place of a front motor mount. Personally i feel it probably is stiff enough and strong enough but that is your judgement call as i still plan to make a tranny mount for my B20A. My B20A powered accord has a lot of play in the motor as is and my donor chassis with this kit has very little so im skeptical that my play is coming from a modified rear mount bracket which is shorter than stock since i was running a victor x intake manifold.

I will post pictures when i get a new jack and these are preliminary impressions as it was a short trip and i don't have time to look over things at the moment. But thus far i am pleased! The only modifications to the kit was a much shorter torque mount rod and shorter radius rods. Other than that its a straight up 3rd gen prelude kit and the only change i may recommend is to move the torque mount bracket over 1/4 or an inch. I will relay this to John@Explicit onces im satisfied that this is a bolt on kit and ready for production.

The only rubbing he had was driver side axel when the car was jacked up.

I gave the guy John (i think thats his name) the changes to make this kit bolt on for the accord. The only major differences were the radius rod lengths and the torque mount was different. Everything else is the 3rd gen kit. The torque mount can be moved about 1/4 of an inch to the passenger side if i recall. I plan to have my engine block mount machined for that adjustment since i had mine powder coated already.

As for the axle i do not have a engine in the car and its stripped bare so i can't even look into this. But when i pulled the motor i did notice a contact mark on the axle. This may be a easy fix as the double shear brackets appear to have a lot of slack on them that can be machined off to give more clearance.

This bar seems really well made and obviously i went on on a limb to try it but its seems as close to bolt on as you can ask for. I would just be sure they send the proper 2 radius rod shaft lengths, 1 torque mount shaft length, and move the bracket that is welded on the traction bar the 1/4 inch. I will work on the shear brackets when i get the B20A back in and the only thing i can think of is the torque mount can be shorter as i took both nuts off so there is nothing to lock it in place. I plan to have mine tig welded to lock it in once the engine is 100% set. I will try to post up my lengths that i had John change if he doesn't still have the notes i sent him.

Thanks rob. i have to get one cause the B series swap took a HUGE chunk off the memeber. I rather get something nice and worth the money. have a mount up front to would be nice. so its just a lude setup from what im hearing then.

Yup a lude set up with a diff radious rod length and front mount location.

John was great to deal with and swapped out the shafts for me no questions asked. As i said to make the kit closer to perfect i would move the bracket 1/4" to the passenger side and maybe slightly shorter torque mount than my 5 1/2 shaft that he swapped out but only about 1-2 threads show so you may need a 4" to 4.5" if they even make one. It works but i took the locking nuts off and will have them tigged once its set. My radius rod lengths are 16" shafts that John swapped out. And i measured off the driver side L-channel and its about 20.5" to the center of the torque mount so if it were 20.75 its probably would be perfect. This is just my speculation on how mine laid out so keep that in mind.

Well I got a email they have all the measurements an ready to make me one. I might have to sell my turbo to get this. Something I need lol not only that it will look epic. So I'm gonna post my shit up for sale. I don't want to but if anyone interested pm me.

It's 450 with the dog mount to hold motor power coated what ever color I want. So that's that . So if anyone want one there u go

Very nice. See if they can give you a part number so when i order i can just email them and be like "this!"

That would be what i got for a setup....I would make the changes so its closer to being a perfect setup.

Ron he said he has the updated measurements you have him so it's all set up as a perfect bolt on

Yeah but i would do a shorter shaft on the torque mount shaft and move the bracket about 1/4.

Let me know how your service is Josh... One of my friends ordered a traction bar from them for his lude over 3 months ago and still doesn't have it... keeps getting the run around. Now is being told he'll have it next week.

I think they are located in WA so he should receive it fast...I also want one but the way we mounted the motor was with the axles in place and tried to tilt it as back as possible so my front crossmember only got notched like 3cm to clear the downpipe

I had a great experience working with John@Explicit and would highly recommend them. Perhaps they are real busy but worth the wait in my opinion.
