Well, if there's one thing almost all old people are good at, it's how to keep a car in good shape.

Does it have a torsen? More often than not, leather cars have an LSD.

Very nice minus the dildo-style shift knob.

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d21/DkF-killage/SL730447.jpg

And the steering wheels the put in these Miata's never did them justice.

Do some research before lowering it. There are some options for the rear shock mounts and bumpstops that you might be interested in. These cars have very little suspension travel even at stock height. Have you checked miata.net yet?

Convenienze

havent checked in yet,

YES it has torsen :D big plus.

my shifter bushing went out in my tranny yesterday i replaced the whole shift rod from the JY yesterday. its like new now... no more movement.

also got rid of the dildo... lmao.. its what came with the car, i got the stock one from the rod in the JY.

also here are some teaser pics... with junk tires. they are to big for the car, ill be putting 195 50 15's or 195 45 15's on it. these tires are 195 55 15's... they were on my accord.

looks like a monster truck... lol

Go with a 205/50/15. That's Spec Miata size, and it makes the car look pretty stout. It fills the wheel wells out nicely, and the tires are nice and wide.

How do you like the Plasti-dip? Do you have any close-up pics? I want to do that with my Si wheels for my 3gee.

yea i wouldnt go with a 45 series tires unless ya got GIANT 17s or somethin.

i seen this miata in orlando at the v2lab meet. its pretty badass... but the tires are 175/45/15's they dont look right... imo he should run 175/50/15's if he wants to keep the stretched look.

update :) i sold my go-ped that ive been trying to get rid of for $280 and bought some new-used racelands for $250 from a local guy. they only have ~2k miles on them and they are the new generation racelands, not the even worse first gen.
i know racelands arent the best. but they will allow me to be slammed and that will work just fine.
im going to buy new sways and end links ect. in the future but these are a start :) putting them in on tuesday and going to get an alignment. will post pics of the slammed NA afterwards.

I like that look, not loving the front lip but otherwise very nicely done!

Convenienze

the only thing ive done to the interior is stereo system, which has been in it since just after the first photos were taken in this thread.
and mitsubishi eclipse a/c vents.
other than that i like to keep the factory interior.

as far as engine goes, ive not done anything yet. just the standard maint.
im supposed to be picking up a turbo setup from a guy i know, but im not sure yet.

Convenienze
11-12-2014, 11:35 PM
heres a small look at the vents.. this picture wasnt taken to show the vents, but you can still pretty much see them.. its to dark at 2am to go take some new pics.

but this pic was intended to show the blockoff plate for my empty din in my panel.
i did not buy a dash kit to install my radio so i designed something myself.

the switched are for my headrest speakers, they are hooked into the ground wires. so that results in no distortion on high volume levels. headrest speakers in a miata are wired in parallel. that means,
left switch = left speaker on each headrest.
right switch = right speaker on each headrest.

they came out one higher than the other just ever so slightly but i free handed the entire plate.. so its not perfect.

I'm glad to see that it's staying in the 3geez forum family and going to someone who knows what they have. It hurts to give up my SE-i especially since I've always wanted one and I'll be hard pressed to find another one like it...but I've just got too much on my plate with the new car, bikes and other obligations. I'll be looking forward to seeing it's progress on here.
