So, I was rolling out of a little town on a 4-lane in the Astra, and a guy in a blue Mustang revs me. We settled in at 40 and I flashed the lights and it was on. I popped off the rev limiter in 2nd, doubleclutched to third, and gained a car length. We passed an intersection and slowed down, just to see the Mustang was still behind us.

Or something like that.

right before i sold the hatch, i raced my buddies 90-something supercharged corrado. 185 stock. i did nothing but burn thru 1st and 2nd and half of 3rd, so he pulled on me from the beginning.
we went 3 times, by the end i was learned to feather the throttle to get a good launch, and we came even on the last run. first 2 runs he had me by about a length or so...
