89 is not bad for a guy who had a heart transplant 22 years ago. He was a vigorous visionary whose influence will live far beyond his transitory human form. Definitely a key figure in the annals of automotive history.

Carroll Shelby actually built him the first Cobra with dual superchargers, and possibly the only one like it, the person Bill cosby sold it to had it accidentally go off of a cliff into the ocean, and the car was finally recovered and restored a few years ago. I wonder whats going to happen to cobra number one now that Carroll is dead? he refused to sell it and it's worth a fortune now
