Hey all, haven't been on the old 3geez in years. I posted years ago but no idea what my user name was back then. It was circa 2001. I had an 88 LX sedan, it was my first car! I knew a few people from the forum in real life and even hung out with steve (88lxi68) once up in CT. Thinking of building a b series sedan for a daily as i'm somewhat on a nostalgia kick. Its insane to me how hard it is to find a manual lxi sedan here in the state of ga.

funny how I almost bought a red 89 LXi sedan last week that had a seized waterpump. I was going to turn around and flip it...wish I knew you were looking!

Steve I know how those CT cars are! It looks like my biggest hurdle is going to be wiring as I've never gone PGM-FI to OBD-1. Plus the ECUs under the seat, wtf? Innovative has the mounts, the shift linkage seems to be easy as I know a guy who does spectacular welding and from what I understand it's just attaching a bseries linkage end to the factory linkage. Otherwise I plan to do a MINIMAL drop, something like an eibach prokit spring just to stiffen up the ride, and do a mild b20 build aiming for 160 whp backed by a short gear cable tranny.

OH yeah, what about keeping a/c and p/s?

use the bseries ps pump and ac compressor, but you will need custom lines made with the b-series ends. PRI used to make some adapter brackets that allowed you to use the stock 3g ps pump and compressor but I heard some people had problems with those.

Hmm, I'll have to install the components and then take it down to the local A/c place to see if I can have some hoses fabbed.
