Hi all, I have had civics and integras and even a lude for a short time but I just bought my first Accord. It's a clean 1986 Accord LXi Hatchback with the 5 speed and all options from the year. I look forward to modding this as I have my other cars in the past. I also own a 2005 Pontiac GTO with a 6 speed which is why my name is gtoman. In the week that I have owned the LXi I have replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor button, oil and filter, driver side axle, many vacuum lines that just looked ready to leak. I ditched the factory intake maze for a short ram that I made using custom piping and I retained all three vacuum lines running to the intake. Thanks for reading.

Hey man, glad you got your accord; the 3G's are quite literally the best sedan honda has made so far, aside from the acura tsx/euro accord 04-07...

I quoted you on the axle since Im guessing you might not know of the 88-89 Lx-i or Se-i front axle upgrade to get bigger brakes on your accord. Search the forum for that and check out Legend_Master's build for suspension to kind of give you an idea for what you can do with your HB (I think his was only a year off from yours :D )
