tire question

Ok so i got some 205/70-14s and i am past due for new tires. I've looked at the tire faq but didn't find anything on these. any one try this size before or think they will fit? i think they are about two inches taller than the recommended size. im not sure of the width in inches of either

that's a bit tall, I am running 205/45/17 which has a 24.26" diameter, lowered 1.5" I get rubs on big bumps
205/70/14 comes out to 25.29"
you should look for a lower profile or a narrower tire

Im sitting stock height, so is it possible? if i take it to the tire place near me, they charge to mount and balance even if its just to check clearance. and i don't feel like wasting money on something like that
