700 for the stereo equipment, wires, and head unit? i think you got a little ripped bro.
i have the same head unit. was in my 3g now in my miata. and its $100. speakers maybe another 100, unless they are bose replacements... wires... cheap. and labor most definitely doesn't make up the difference.

but the car is clean. nice :)

My 1989 LXi. purchased two months ago, only 115k miles, one owner and clean...clean...clean only needs dings and scrapes from body finished. redoing sound system and them off to body shop for paint and clearcoat. it rides like new, feels like new a rare find on craiges list. now I have two LXi 89. both green and in tip-top shape!!

Thanks man, I got lucky the first owner took care of it very well, because I am still a noob right now, but I'm trying my best to keep it as clean as possible and add appropriate mods. I already spent a lot of pay checks on this car and I still have a lot of things to do in mind.

Not a Mercedes Accord. If you're gonna do DRL's, get the JDM turn signals and do it right. Then add JDM fogs.

I agree. We get a lot of this in Australia. Annoys me seeing the potential a lot of cars have, only to be ruined by aftermarket DRLs. :(

Where do you get JDM turn signals for a 1989? Didn't even know it existed...

Would that fit on a 89? I know it says for 1989 but it looks smaller then the oem.

MessyHonda
12-29-2013, 03:23 PM
that would not fit. thats a 86-87 bumper turn signal

I'm pretty damn jealous of this car... impressive to see a car from out east that isn't a rust bucket from '89.

I had two SE-i's in this colour and always wanted a standard. I love that paint colour on those SE-i's and it looks great on the Enkei wheels, just needs to be lowered a bit.

Sorry to threadjack. JDM signals - Hazwan had a set for sale once. They look similar to the USDM but they have an extra light next to the turn signals.

This car has them but it has fixed head lights, prefacelift bumpers are the same regardless:

Facelift bumpers have the same look.

It would be lower if I had money trust me and stored for winter. It looks so ugly right now with all the dirt on it.

Still having some fun tho
