Bought her for 1200 dollars. Changed the leaky old injectors and thats about it. I put some type - r emblems I had lying around because it had no front and the back one was shot to all hell. I know it's not a type r

Plans for the future are to do the 5 speed swap and build my A20a3. It's only got 109000 miles :D

I need to start searching the junkyards, I've got a cracked taillight that I covered with some heavy duty duct tape and really need to find some SE-I cupholders.

Thanks for checking it out, I'm sure I'll post more pictures as I update the car

The emblems look good on it! The factory ones always annoyed me because they are really hard to wax around.

Car looks great. We need more pics of the inside though.

I'll put some inside pics up tomorrow, it's dark here in CT. I keep the thing clean and by clean I mean clean.

The body honestly isn't as great as it looks in the pics, There's a quarter sized section of rust on the passenger side wheel well, the taillight is cracked but it looks okay with the duct tape and I still need to find a cheap window motor as the other one went down the tubes and I took it out so the window is manual and by manual I mean you gotta clap both hands and pull it up hahaha

The underside is nice, looks like it was coated and I dont see any rust. Exhaust is new, sounds pretty nice. I did notice a tiny crack in the unibody and by the wheel it looks like someone misplaced the jack and it bent it up a little bit.

I plan on getting the mechanical stuff done first, drop it and swap the auto out. I'm getting a way better job so I'll be able to put some cash into my baby.

Some updates and FINALLY interior pics ( sorry, I don't own a camera ).

Lookin extra rice with the tow hooks but I just wanna mess around with her for now.

Painted the light housing and the eyelids, the grille came out okay but it's cracked so I need to make a JY run soon and find some goodies

Let the pics commence. All opinions welcome, in favor of the car or not, thank you!

Looks like a nice find for a CT car and low mileage considering the age. If you need any parts pm me first as im in CT and have some spare things lying around from the four 1989 coupes that i have owned. I know off the top of my head i have the rear patch panels and SEI wheels that im looking to sell locally.

Good luck with your accord!

Rob

That's a great car to be starting with, it has pretty minor issues compared to what I'm dealing with. I dig the red emblems, may be considered rice by some but I've always loved them on a white car, and I will probably order some for mine one day. The red lights and grille though just look out of place and would probably have been better left alone (IMHO)

Thanks Rob, great to know there's other Accord enthusiasts around. Im looking for a car with a 5 speed I can start taking parts from, I REALLY wanna do the swap.

I may be interested in the SE-I rims, PM me some details if you'd like.

I been thinking the same thing lately. It's only 3 days old and Im sick of it lol.

I just wanted something fun to do on my day off, I plan on putting some stock pieces back on it eventually.
