Because Night, either way, it is too damn expensive to do that unless you have your own shop.. I thought about putting a small block in my hatch (since I hang out with the domestic crowd,) But then I think---naaa my motor has lots of potential.

does a C20 (2.7 L V6 from the Legend) fit our 3gs? If it does, that would be great. Someone could even get a C20T (turbo) and put it in. I wish it would fit with lil mods.

I would be real surprised if it fit. Even if you did get it to you would have a hell of a time working on it. I know that was a problem with the legends and bob even vouched for that as he said a freind of his had one (if im correct).

Ok here is an interesting (maybe dumb) question: Would it be possible to fit C32A (which I am assuming is a V6) in our cars, IF money, time, labor, etc were of no object?

that C32A i think is the acura engine. u can make it fit, but i think that the acura legends 2.7 liter is what i was thinking of. because i have heard of someone having it come factory in their car. that engine i have seen it in a british honda made car sterling. i think it was the model 725 or 825. those are pretty hard to find. that is made by honda and rover. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON A V6 3GEE accord, please for everyone on this boards sake, post info and pix here.

Yeah, my dad owned a Sterling up until about 4 years ago. was a good car for a 4 dr sedan. Only problem was the parts!! All of the rover shit broke down, and ordering new stuff for them since they were discontinued was a bitch and a half.

I heard there was a connection between Honda/Acura and Sterling, I just didn't know how much they were connected. The Sterlings I have seen, look similar to Acura Legends. Does anyone know if the Legend and Sterlings shared the same engines or any other similarities?

I was looking at one at a junkyard recently, just to see what parts looked similar to a Legend.

i have a cousin that has the Sterling. she said the parts are hard to get but im pretty shur that the Legend of that time shared the same 2.7 litre V6

a legend with a v6 (1986):

Looks like a 3g :)

If I remember correctly they even sold the Rover with a turbo. I think a V6 would be possible, but I dont think it's worth it.

that looks like the late 80s legend except the ones ive looked at had the engine going in long ways. i didnt realy mean putting a V6 into a 3gee was an idea i had. it was only that some time ago i had heard of a 3rd gen accord comming from the factory with a V6. i dont realy know if its true but i hope to find out. i hope someone knows here.

The Sterling 825/827 are actually rebadged Rovers, which are actually Acura Legends that were built under license in England. The engines/transmissions are from Honda in Japan but the rest of the car is British built, and in typical fashion, crap. They're cool though, there aren't really many other desireable four door hatchbacks that are available with a V6 and a 5-speed and affordable.
