Any smoke? Rod knock? Overheating? Clattering on startup? How many quarts of oil do you put in each month? LOL

Congrats on 240!

Ain't that the way it goes? Car goes great until you start bragging. Then it blows up.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you get it fixed soon.

Mine is at like 284K. I change the oil once a year with full synthetic (I only drive it like 5k miles per year now), and last year it only used 1/3 to 1/2 quart.

never bragging again! haha

so the job went pretty smooth. It took me 8 hours to complete the job. I was a tooth off when i put the timing belt back on . and my fuel pump deiced to not work. but when i checked to see if there was power getting to it (which there was) when i plugged it back in and tested it. it started to work again:uh:

my car need some attention i noticed that my motor mounts were lose oO and when i did my wire tuck i ran the wires in the wheel well and they were hanging down and rubbing on the tire 3 wires were cut in half. ops

but all in all it was great success.

Haha! I was just looking at that thinking... man that looks like an A20 with that extra oil port. Then I remembered, you swapped in the A20.

This is the ES:

It's kinda too bad about them not interchanging heads.

Nice work on the quick headgasket swap. You took off the intake manifold and everything! That's a ton of work getting to those bolts.
