Hi guys!

I'm 22, a Student from Germany and thats my story:

What happened:

We wrote the year 1989 when I am born and my uncle is driven by the Honda-flu.
The cause of his flu: A black CA5 sedan, 2.0-EXi-16.
My parents actually dont have any car at that time, so my whole childhood takes place in that black 89 sedan.
He drives different versions of the car (4-5 cars he destroys in cause of accidents, not all on his responsibility) with B20A2 and also B20A8 engines with 133 hp. The last one he posses, is completely identical with following one I found on net:

He has it till mid 1992. Then the Accord is changed by an silver Honda Legend. 3 years later the Legend is gone, and on his search for another car he accidentally find his previous Accord, and so he rebuys it. Three more years the Accord remains as a family member, till a friend of him buys it. But he causes an accident and so the Accord finally finds his way to scrap...

Continuation:
2012. Im now grown-up and on the search on THE first car. It shall be something special, something cultic. On my search I consider to look after a VW Beetle from 60's und 70's. A good friend gives me the advice to look after a car with more practicability, comfort and technical fit. But which car can fulfill all these requirements?

Accidentally, while looking through family foto albums I see following picture. From that time its decided to me which car Im searching for.

Three months passes away, and a lot of hours I spend for searching it. Finnish sites, russian sites, ukrainian sites etc. etc.... Theres no corner of Europe Ive left. My criteria is hard. It should be the same one, 16v in black with same interior and in a good working condition.

On my search I also see 3geez.com. Here I find Tomissimo. He has the same car. And after talken to me, he offers me, openhearted, to give me his black one. But as he says, it need some time, because some works are needed.

Meanwhile the Sensation. On my daily routine of searching throughout the classifields i explore it. And i cant believe it. Nearly 100% as i was searching for. After some days I drive with a good friend 300 km and pick up the old friend.

And now here it is.

Honda Accord 4wALB 2.0i-16 (133 PS with catalyst)
one owner (only für 3 months a second collector owns it)
color: black, interior: black, white, red.
Build: 05/1989, mileage: 164.000
engine 1A in original condition
An old lady owned it (Born 1945). Now she decided to buy a brand new ACCORD TYPE S!!!
Of course there are some, scratches, dents, etc. here and there, but in general in good condition, for its age.

Current condition (pictures say more than thousand words):

Love your story. We have been getting new members who remember these cars from their youth and are actively seeking them out now. I think it's awesome.

Welcome!

Wheels look sweet, any plans on lowering it?

senna89

Yeah, lowering will be a must have, but what do you think how much lowered is this one:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/47651877/senna89/f54t188p2975946n1.jpg

Because I am planning to mount the above kit (as far as I found it anywhere), so it shouldnt be too much, therefore I didnt forced it...

Can you recommend something? Actually I wanted to combine lowering with Bilstein shocks, any idea where to get them?

In the picture, it looks like its been lowered 1.5" -2" and if you plan of going that low I would suggest getting tokicos instead of bilsteins unless you are getting them revalved. Here is a bit more info on which are available for the 3g and what shocks are good. Click here (http://3geez.wiki-tv.com/How_to_upgrade_your_suspension)

I like the plans for your new car. I also grew up in the back of a 1988 accord DX. these cars are great.
