I love driving it but it seems like there is always something to do on it.

I heard about this site after some intense googling

1981

Pretty decent shape. It has never seen a winter in upstate NY. The guy I bought it from got it in 1985 in Florida.

Mileage is about 253k.

The interior needs some work..

I can't wait to dive and get some stuff done.

Goodness I want one in blue! Yours looks so nice.
Welcome.
I have some early Integra seats in blue that I would fit.

Though fitting them in an '81 might be a little harder since they had different seat mountings. Honda made an awful lot of changes for '81...

Oh yeah! That blue looks great! And that car is in great shape! What things are you planning on doing to it? You know, I have a set of LX alloys that would look sharp on that car! You'd need to refinish them, but I have a complete set with a spare. :)

OK since posting I have had quite the experience.

My Jeep Commander went through another starter. I think it is in warranty. I had to call AAA to get it towed to my buddy's shop on Friday.

I then took the Honda to a baseball game in Rochester, NY. Me being so used to newer cars and not having to worry about leaving the headlights on, drained my battery while at the game. Nobody there would help me. I even went to a cop and he wouldn't give me a jump.

My cell battery was almost dead and the game ran late due to a rain delay. None of my friends who lived in the city were willing to help so I called AAA for the second time. It was about 2:15 when a flatbed tow truck came to help jump my car. He could not get into the lot. Good thing he had a jump pack. Got it jumped and after 3 minutes the car died. We tried jumping it again and it died. Just last week I replaced the battery and alternator. He couldn't tow the car away if he wanted to. I'm thinking of complaining to the ballpark. They should at least have some kind of assistance for this situation.

I was able to get my brother to pick me up. I got back to the park yesterday and brought my tools. I tightened up the alternator and cleaned the terminals better. So far so good.

I ran into another situation earlier in the week where water was collecting in the inside air system. I thought it was due the lots of rain we have been getting lately. Every time I take a hard left turn all this water pours out of the right inside the car. The funny part is it rained the day of the game and when I got the car going again I wanted to see if a ton of water would come out of the air system.

I did a bunch of turns and a little came out. However, after doing some more turns nothing else came out. I think it is the AC condensing somewhere on the inside.
