best thing to do, is get a header and free flow cat, 2 inch pipe all the way back, and then use like a flow master muffler with a tip

that should be beefy

i wouldnt get anything too loud if i were you ...you will probally end getting annoyed with it ... just get something with a nice deep tone ....i just went to the local muffler shop and had them do header back 2.25 piping with a dual dtm muffler... it sounds nice but not to loud ...

The Apexi is really clear sounding!! I have 2.25 in piping from the cat and a turbo N1 muffler!!! The N1 is louder but is not buzzy!! i had a arospeed muffler and the N1 sounds so much cleaner!!

another good setup atleast in my mind is get the pacesetter ceramic header... no cat... pacesetter catback piping, and hack the pacesetter muffler off and weld on a stainless muffler of your choice, i have that with a DTM stainless muffler and it sounds real good, surprisingly its not too loud when your just cruisin around, but its REAL loud when you put your foot in it

Pacesetter products, and many other 3rd gen upgrades can be found at:

NOPIONLINE.com

I personally bought the pacesetter catback exhaust, thinkin' bout taking the muffler off thought, other than that the pipes are much larger and higher airflow. Only problem was when I ordered it the front pipe was out of stock.

question guys, when u say "straight back" do u mean altering the bends in the assembly to literally go straight back? i was wondering if i could do that to minimize the amount of bends in my exhaust, i was planning on goin dynomax turbo with a mandrel bent catback, thx
