I just ran across this. Whiteline (www.whiteline.com.au) makes front strut bracesp (http://www.whiteline.com.au/strut_brace_apps.htm) for the 3rd gen LX-i/SE-i. I have some of their stuff on my corolla, its good quality. The exchange rate with australia makes it a good buy too. I got mine through josh at 185performance (www.185performance.com). I believe that these guys (http://www.mofugas.com/) can also get them. 185 lists them for $122, and unlike the dc stuff thses are available (shipping from australia does take time though).

Here's a shot of the front bar on my corolla:

Aluminum and adjustable, not a bad deal.

What do you mean, unlike DC, these are available??? I don't know where you get parts, but my hook-up got me one in a week and a half from DC... Maybe your shop just sucks???
