View Full Version : Found the motherload of 1g, 2g and 3g Accords at the wrecking yard!

These are some pics from a yard I went to today. Lots of Accords there. I saw at least 1 89 SEi there. I didn't check to see if it had rear discs or not. There were wasps everywhere. There had to be at least 30 3g Accords there. Rows upon rows of them! Next time I go back, I am going to take a look at things that people might be looking for, and I'm taking wasp killer with me for sure so I can actually dig through the cars. It will probably be 3-4 weeks before I go back though.

So cool to see. You normally don't see cars stacked by model, especially in piles like in 3. I know if I were local, I'd be pulling every armrest, cupholder, rear brake set, second gen Prelude UCA, and foglight switch I could find.

I would have gone through more of them, but I was getting sick of being attacked by wasps. I now know what I need for next time I go.

What would one bring to defend himself from wasps? I think I'm either going today or tomorrow.

I dunno... Shipping with greyhound is pretty damn cheap. I shipped my toolbox full of tools from calgary to van for $100. Greyhound only charges by weight.

Also, thanks for the pics Charlie! ... When are you taking orders? lol... I should drive down to this place when my vacation starts.

For those of you who have been there, what are the prices like?

I'm looking to replace my passenger side parking light assembly (its cracked) & don't feel like paying $45 plus shipping for a new one.

Also interested in finding a Weber carb to mess with.

Sure. It might be a while before I get back up there though. In the mean time, I guess this guy (http://www.facebook.com/dannynwch) can get you parts, as that's what he does full time, and he's in the area. If you want them quicker, he's probably the guy to talk to.

Allright guys. I figure I'm going to probably head back out to this yard in 3-4 weeks. BUT I only have 4 hours in the yard (8am - noon) so if you guys wanna PM me some requests, I'll see what I can get for ya. I'm not sure I can pull a complete wiring harness out of a car without some significant work. You'll also have to realize that once I get the parts, I probably won't ship them IMMEDIATELY, because I have a life, and a job, and I don't have packaging supplies immediately on hand. But I always do get the parts out, even if it takes an extra week or two. So if you can wait, I can help out.

Add your request to my Google Doc by following this link. Make sure you list very specifically what you are looking for. Part numbers or a photo are very helpful. And don't forget to put your name in it:

05-29-2013, 06:06 PM
Today I noticed there were a large percentage of 1G's there. The lot has grown significantly since I was there last not too long ago. They are crushing all of the 3G's and some 4G's that were in the stacks, but the long rows are still the same, and they do have a large batch of new cars. The only camera I have is my slider's VGA so no pictures. Lots of good body parts, but I wouldn't get too excited for a nice interior to come along. They don't seem to take care of their yard as well as a lot of other places.
