bought a 89 accord EX-I with the a20a3 automatic 174xxxkm, it ran good when i viewed the car and once i started ripping the stock air tubing out for cold air it started to idle hunt only when it was hot, but now it does it even when cold, but it wont do it in gear only in neutral or park.

anyone that has had this same problem or might know...

Please help.

a lil of an update, it threw egr code( replaced that), threw ECT code( changed that), changed my vacuum advance from my parts car and didnt change anything, cleaned IACV(idk if it should be replaced and not just cleaned?), played with the high idle valve, so far got no more codes but still idle hunts and it hunts at a smaller range b4 it was like 1500-2250 and now its 1250-1500 up and down.

my injector seals and 2 injectors are toast, guna put injectors from a 96 acura tl 3.2 in with new seals and go from their cuz i imagine that the seals are a bit of a vacuum leak. all it has so far is cold air and straight pipe exhaust( which sounds amasing)

another thing when i pull the vacuum advance hoses off and put vacuum caps on the metal lines it goes normal... no idle hunting or high idle and its at 1100 in park and about 980 in gear, ive been driving the car like this for awhile now but does seem to be a lil gutless at times. my point bout that...is it possible sumthing in the vacuum box for the VAC is not working.

sum1 plz help

Reconnect the vacuum lines that you removed. Problem solved.
