where do i plug it in ?

also for all the guys that have led lights inside of the car how did you run the wiring do you have a on and off switch ? where are you drawing power from and is it hard to connect everything ?

thanks in advance guys

An electronic flasher,it replaces the square flasher in the fuse panel under the dash in the back. Most are round but the stock one is square.

There are some unused spaces in the fuse box that can be used to wire in some switches, but it all depends on how you want to use the lights.

Mine are here: http://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1100521#post1100521

Interior lights are wired into the dome light.
Rear lights are wired into existing brake/turn wiring.
Front windshield lights are on a switch I wired up to the fuse box.
Driving lights on the front are wired into the corner lights.
Door safety lights are wired into the courtesy light on the door panel.

I plan on illuminating the dash and have a couple other accent lights but I want to
Be able to turn them off can I run switch to the light source then to the leds like a regular light ?

Yes. Figuting out how to wire it up is the fun part. I would use the dash lights as the power source for your LEDs - that way they will dim when you use the dimmer or switch on your headlights.

Otherwise I would just run the LEDs from the fuse box if you want them separate from the dash dimmer.

I had a similar issue.
A long time ago, I did some google searches and I found a diagram online for a variable speed flasher for a Civic. It involved removing a resistor in the flasher and replacing it with a potentiometer. I did this same mod to the stock Accord flasher and I can change my blinker speed from stock to stupid strobe speed.

Similar to this but with a pot instead of a resistor

I'll try and snap a pic of mine before I leave for Miami tomorrow

if you use the LEDS for illumination on the dash the hot wire will come from one side of the illumination circuit and you have a ground wire just for illumination that is a controlled ground the module changes current on the ground side

here you go, I just replaced this resistor with an adjustable potentiometer so I can go between stock and ludicrous speed

I can't remember the resistance of the pot, it's been a few years, but I'm thinking 4.7k... you can go a bit higher than this one because at it's slowest setting it is about the same as stock, at the fastest it doesn't even look like it's flashing

^Remove the second resistor, this affects the flash rate.
I don't know what the first resistor does, it may affect how long the bulb is on in between flashes but i left it alone

^Drilled a small hole in the case and glued it in so I can turn it while it's installed

That's pretty trick!

It looks like it says 104 on the pot in the picture. If so that is a 100K ohm resistor.

you will not be able to use the dimmer correctly to "dim" LED's. LED's work with current and have a specific cutoff voltage. you wont get much range to "dim" the LED's at all. Best way to actually do something with LED's is Pulse width modulation.
