Okay according to Pakistani Rupee I have round about Rs100000 which is probably US$1100
I want the right Engine that would fit easily, with auto gear and is less Tacky... (not want to race with it) but I want atleast 1.8L Engine to fit in My Honda 87 EX.
The problem is which Engine should I go for>>>?
Available options for me are
F22B costing Rs65000 US$720
H22A Costing Rs80000 US$890
D16 Costing Rs 48000 US$530
B16 Costing same as D16
and B18 Costing RS 63000 US$700

My engine is nearing its death (A16A1 with all sorts of colourfull farts and noises) they said they'd buy my engine for Rs18000 or US$200.. Suggestions please!

I do not know where you are sourcing these engines but if you can find a B20a, 1986 to 1989 model, it is the simplest swap. Otherwise if you are up to it, the H22 is most worth the effort it will require for all those you mention.

If you or your mechanic are able to build the mounts, axles, and handle the electrical work of an H22 swap, I would go down that path. If that's not the case, I would track down a B20 that came from one of these cars or a second gen Prelude. Unless you buy another A series engine, you're going to need the transmission, too.

In general, if you have a welder, a tape measure, a straight edge, and something to build engine mounts with, you can swap any engine into these cars. IMO, Honda engines are the easiest since there are strong generational ties between all of the engines, but in reality, you could put just about anything in there, including a sweet FWD SR20DET.

b-series mounts are available for the car so thats really the best option

b16 would be rev happy and fun to drive!
