I guess there is a house attached to it, but most importantly I now have a safe place to keep the 3g!

Pics to come!

Congrats! Garages are a good thing. For the past three years I have worked at a place with a parking garage. "Indoor" parking both at work and at home makes my wiper blades last twice as long, my wax last almost three times as long, plus it's never an oven during the summer. I know you know what I mean in OKC. I still don't get why many of my neighbors utilize their garages for storing crap they'll never use and keep their second largest investment in the street to deteriorate in the Texas sun.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Why on earth buy a house with a two car garage when you're just going to keep crap in it. Then again, my parents are like that.

This is the main reason I bought the house I did! Looked at a few that we're a little bigger, nicer etc, but no garage, no deal!

I figured.

Pics can wait I suppose. The wife has a mile long list of "Honey-Do's" that need to get done, on top of moving in this week.

All of my car guy friends use their garages as shops and still store the cars outside. Some get creative and keep space for small cars, but you should build in some good work space no matter what.

Not being able to park the car in the garage drives me nuts. I manage to cram 3 cars into my 2 car garage. Admittedly, it's a large 2-car, but when I'm not doing a project, my car must be safe and protected from the elements. :)

Haha. One of my favorite quotes from my Dad (which is hilarious because it's been circulating on facebook like crazy lately):

"If I said I'll get it fixed, I'll get it fixed. You don't have to remind me every 6 months"

So the garage is now clean enough to get BOTH cars parked in it. The inside of the house......err well...lol
