Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and if anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate.

I bought an 89 accord about two days ago. The dash looks like the attached picture. I have an aftermarket head unit, it is an alpine cde-9872. It was given to me and i don't have the accompanying sleeve that usually comes with head units. I have already wired up the harness and so the wiring part is already set up, I'm just having trouble mounting the stereo in the dash. I bought a mounting kit from walmart, but it was no help at all. I'm lost guys.

Ebay or a local stereo store might sell them. That might be your best bet. If not a junk yard.

I got mine off ebay, but they also sell them at car part stores for pretty cheap.

I have an extra sleeve and side mounting tabs that attach to the head unit from an old Sony deck, it's yours if you still need and it will fit your Alpine. The sleeve opening is 7" x 2" with a depth of 2 1/2". It came out of my old 87 3G. PM me.
