what is the compression ratio of an A20 engine???

i want it to be 1:8...........how can i change that????

Well it depends on what year A20. Going off memory here if I remember correctly, the 86-89 BS/A20A1 and 86-87 BT/A20A3 was 8.8:1, and the 88-89 A20A3 was 9.3:1. Only way I know of to change CR is to change pistons or shave/space cylinder head
