That's not that bad of a beater, atleast its not rusting apart.

Too clean to just scrap it. If it runs well, I'd rallycross it.

O it is, I assure you. Theres some rust in the wheel arches. There is a rusted hole in the back passenger corner of the trunk area. Im afraid to take the carpet out. How bad can it really be right?

A 4x4 accord is PERFECT for rally cross right?!

It's the uber-rare, special-edition 4x4 hatchback Accord. That will bring good money once it's restored.

Congrats on the new car. Have lots of fun with it.

haha right, at least the bumper mounts aren't so rusted that the bumper is held on by a coat hanger, like my car:D My trunk was rusted too, 2 big ole holes on each side..and under the tail lights was completed rotted away, wheel wells rotted.

Umm ..., what is a 4x4? Did Honda actually make a 4-wheel drive Accord? I see no mention of this at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Accord

Well, you need to dive into it if you're seriously thinking of some restoration. I just patched a hole in the trunk floor of my '91 Accord. I had to remove the left wheel well liner in the trunk to get full access to the hole. Figuring out how to remove the liner took some time but I had to do it in order to patch that hole which was allowing the wheel to throw water and crud up into the trunk when driving in rain or winter slush.

No, they never mad 4wd Accords. At the time, it was the Civic Wagons that came with the RT4WD system.

So, what does 4 x 4 signify on an Accord?

Maybe you never had one, but we used them all the time when we went snipe hunting.

The rightful owner of the car will now take up posting about this beater. I might stick around too.
