Ok well just did interior lights all my push button - (neo wedgetype A an B) as well as the wedge type behind the cluster (194 smd) just wanted to share so those who want to do this is fairly easy bulb swap . The neo wedge is a pain to get in I had to file down the base on the board using a small file to get the bulb to fit an used 2 small flat heads to lock the neo wedges . If you try to use the Phillps you'll just strip the bulbs backing. Here are some pics.

Here is the Neowedge bulbs type b to your left an type a to your right.

As you can see the spots where the neo wedge bulbs go.

Here you can see there all similar . You can just swap out the type b (big one) an leave the type a alone. I did only thing type a (small) does is lights up the rectangle area showing that the switch is on/off. The dimmer switch only takes a type a to light up.

Here is the cluster bulbs which are smd 194 (5 wide) so you don't have hot spots. Cluster takes total of 4

Sure will reason why it looks blue is cause there is switch has tint buildt in I havent looked into taking em out. Easy regardless. Ill update this week. But as show you'll neede 4 194 smd LEDs for cluster then 4 type b neo wedge LEDs . Then the dimmer switch using one type a led. Ok now if you want to switch the stats light on the switches those are type a as well.

looks very nice. I think someone did this to our 86 hatch. the lights are a weird shade of greenish blue. The dome light is the same color. I know they are LEDs because i left the dome light on for 2 days and it started fine. I may use your guide to fix mine so I can my speed at night.

K will took apart the climate control an one bulb distrubuts light to all the button which is a (74) an you can get that in led as well. The cluster also takes these for the top bulbs (2) which again the board takes some filing to get em to fit. Then on top there is a type b neo wedgevan the ac button takes a tybe b neo wedge. Ill edit the fast post to an add this

Yup I've seen em cheap as well an bought a dozen. Crappy output don't last long. You get what you pay for is correct. Don't get eBay LEDs period unless its for a cheap fix . I'm just saying from experience. Bout from the site I mentioned best output I've seen. You won't get that with eBay crap.

it can be made in the same country, but paying more usually means that the company has better costumer service and a better product. like you can buy cheap gross domestic beer and good domestic beer

Just got around to this tonight while doing the Viper 5704 starter/alarm in the car. On my 89EXi there were a total of 5 194 style bulbs on the cluster. 4 visible, one sneaky one hiding behind the module to the right of the speedo cable. Other than that, went with green from the fine folks at Superbrightled and am liking it. Gotta tend to the climate controls, shifter bezel etc now
